Sara has called Delano home since 2017, where she is raising her children and has become deeply invested in the strength and future of our schools and community. She understands what families experience when the district works well — and what it feels like when communication breaks down or decisions don't make sense.

Sara holds an MBA and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and brings more than a decade of experience leading complex programs, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, implementing technology, evaluating risk, and bringing people together to solve difficult problems. That's not a résumé line — it's the actual work she has done, and exactly what responsible school board governance requires.

Sara is running to bring her experience to public service — with a focus on students first, responsible fiscal stewardship, transparent and accountable decision-making, and meaningful partnership with families and educators. She wants Delano to remain a community where students can learn, teachers can thrive, families are heard, and decisions are made thoughtfully for the future.
Why I'm Running
In Her Own Words
I believe technology and AI should be used responsibly and intentionally — with strong protections for student privacy and a clear educational purpose. Major spending and facility decisions should demonstrate genuine need and long-term value before asking taxpayers for additional investment.
I'm running because I believe the Board should be asking harder questions: Is every student being served? Is spending producing results? Are families getting the clear communication they deserve?
I'm not running against anyone. I'm running for something — and I'm running because Delano deserves a board member who will do the work.
